Shagging on Santee by SC Education Lottery

Shaggin’ on Santee gets swinging with the South Carolina Education Lottery! This special area will give shag enthusiasts of all levels and experience a chance to show their love for the South Carolina state dance.


This event, which is presented by the Capital City Shag Club and the South Carolina Education Lottery, will kick off at noon with a DJs from different parts of the state spinning your favorite Beach, Shag, Boogie and Blues tunes.

Shag lessons and exhibitions will also be hosted by the Capital City Shag Club on the outside dance floor.

The Lottery will also be on hand, selling tickets and showcasing its Emerald Green 7’s Instant Ticket! So don't forget to shuffle on down to the Lottery tent to purchase lottery products and spin the prize wheel for exciting promotional items!
