Rock, Reggae and Hip Hop: Each is definable, recognizable and at once familiar to people the world over--but never before have those three forms of musical expression been blended into a sound that is as indefinable as it is recognizable and familiar. Enter the Philadelphia quartet known as The Movement.  You won't want to miss this show... and maybe you'll even have a chance to hear their new release "One More Night" coming out on March 20,2012.

This talented performer and songwriter has just the right blend of bluegrass, punk, and folk to make every show a good time.  Over the past five years, this Chapin native has become a Midlands favorite and has mixed his talent with some top-notch performers, including the opportunity to open shows for acts such as Kenny Chesney, Brooks & Dunn, Leann Rimes, Nickel Creek, Robert Earl Keen, The Avett Brothers and more.

Josh Roberts

Show Time: 1:25 p.m.
Genre: Punk

As sang by Josh Roberts and the Hinges “grab the hand of your man”  (or the hand of a leprechaun), 'cause it's time to listen to the punk and soul infused jams of one of Columbia’s favorite hometown bands. Backed by the power of AC/DC, mixed with a twang from below the Mason Dixon Line and surging with raw uncompromising anthems this band sham-rocks. The bands earlier releases have been called a cinematic and emotional thanksgiving dinner of rock, but its not thanksgiving its St. Pat’s, so raise you glass and let you war cry be Amor….

Phillip Roebuck

Show Time: 12:10 p.m.
Genre: American Rock

My Space YouTubeFacebook

This Virginia-born, New York-bred songster is a bare bones one-man band. With punk rock intensity, Roebuck stomps out beats on a classic, depression-era drum apparatus, while strumming the banjo with a fierce ragged-but-right style. Although he has played over a thousand shows in venues and on festival stages in the U.S. and Europe, Roebuck can just as easily be seen performing on a street corner in New Orleans or New York City, where he has spent nearly a decade honing his skills.
