The Five Points Association is now accepting submissions from local bands interested in competing in the 5th Annual Battle for St. Pat’s on March 2, 2012. The six gnarliest, blarniest entries will vie for the opportunity to play on the big stage at St. Pat’s in Five Points on March 17.

To enter, send press kits including contact information, a bio, CD of music and picture to the Five Points Association postmarked no later than February 3, 2012.

Local musical experts will review the entries to determine the six bands that will sing, strum and wail it out at Battle for St. Pat’s.  The winner of the Battle will earn a coveted time slot on a national stage during St. Pat’s in Five Points and a recording session from the Jam Room.

Bands selected to compete in the Battle for St. Pat’s will be announced on February 10, 2012.

Battle for St. Pat’s will be held on Friday, March 2, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 pm at the Five Points fountain stage.
